We are building an audit and advisory firm that meets international standards without importing a model designed for other markets.
Why we exist
Organisations across Africa now face financial reporting expectations comparable to any other market: institutional donors, lenders, investors, regulators and tax authorities all expect reliable accounts and demonstrable controls.
What is harder to find is support that holds both ends together: the methodological rigour of an international firm, and a real understanding of the OHADA framework, Togolese tax practice, donor requirements and the practical constraints of operating here.
That is the firm we are building: independent, multidisciplinary, comfortable with data and artificial intelligence, and led by professionals who stay present on the engagement.
Falcon Audit and Consulting (FAC) SARL has been incorporated in Lomé since June 2022. Its objects cover accountancy, audit, legal and tax advice, management and organisational consulting, information technology, services and professional training.
Quality and ethics
Our work sits within the framework of the International Standards on Auditing (ISA), the IESBA Code of Ethics and the professional obligations applicable in Togo. Every engagement is subject to an independent review proportionate to its risk, documentation retained under our archiving rules, and a formal independence assessment before acceptance.

Transatlantic expertise applied to audit in Africa
A qualified expert-comptable, he is registered with ONECCA-Togo under number 101.22.A1 and accepts and signs the firm's regulated mandates in that capacity.
In the United States he holds a Certified Public Accountant licence issued by the State of Maryland, the Certified Information Technology Professional credential awarded by the AICPA, and the Certified Tax Coach qualification. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and leads Falcon Accounting & Tax Solutions in Germantown, Maryland.
His expertise spans taxation, financial reporting, nonprofit accounting, regulatory compliance, information systems and business advisory, serving clients in real estate, healthcare, technology and professional services.
He holds a degree from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park, and a certificate in entrepreneurship from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme.

Three complementary qualifications
Issued in the United States, the CPA, CITP and CTC credentials evidence competence in three areas that reinforce one another:
- CPA
- Accounting, audit and financial reporting. Issued by a State Board of Accountancy; member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
- CITP
- Information technology applied to the accounting profession. Awarded by the AICPA.
- CTC
- Tax strategy and planning.
Artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence as a driver of change
The CITP credential puts information systems at the centre of the firm's strategy. Tchata Koubonou leads the integration of artificial intelligence, data analysis and automation into audit and advisory work, including the development of LexIA — an assistant built to support professional research, document analysis, risk identification and engagement preparation. The approach rests on confidentiality, human oversight, ethics and professional judgement: it strengthens the quality of the work without standing in for the person who signs it.
